Buurtvereniging “Den Berg” is de oudste buurtvereniging van Liempde. De buurtvereniging is opgericht op 11 maart 1968.

De vereniging heeft als doel:

  • Het behartigen van de belangen van de leden: Alle bewoners van buurtschap “den Berg”
  • Het bevorderen van gemeenschapszin en contacten tussen de leden.
  • Het zijn van een buurtvereniging, bijv. door de organisatie van festiviteiten en dergelijke.
 

De buurtvereniging heeft op dit moment ruim 600 leden.

Het grondgebied van buurtvereniging “Den Berg” bestaat uit:

Akkersrijt, Bergstraat, Berkenpad, Boxtelseweg, Bremhorst, De Beemden, De Bleek, De Bocht, Den Berg, Dennendreef, Draaiboom, Heidonk, Hulzerweg, Krollerbocht, Molendijk, Schietberg en Schuttersdreef.

Bestuur

Het bestuur bestaat uit de volgende leden:

  • Gerda Klompers (voorzitter)
  • Jack Thomassen (penningmeester)
  • Anne-marie Smetsers (secretariaat)
  • Trudy Dekkers
  • Rianne Koppen
  • Berdine Beugelsdijk
